The mission of the Membership Committee is to grow and nurture the HCWF’s most valuable resource…YOU. Our vision is one in which current members increase their active participation and feel a heightened sense of commitment to inspire their friends and acquaintances to become involved. Participation creates a strong connection among members and with the women in our communities that we help to be the best they can be.
Membership is the heart and soul of our organization. Without you, there is no High Country Women's Fund. Members give their time by participating in service projects, hosting a POP Party, attending meetings or serving on committees. Gifts of talent include leading a group, organizing a service project or event, and donating your professional services. Members give their treasures at the level they can afford.
The Membership Committee leads in the development, planning and facilitation of POP activities such as POP Parties and POP After Hours events where women get together to learn about the HCWF and the many ways to get involved. We also coordinate gatherings of the Director Circle (DC) and Circle of Friends several times each year. We work closely with other HCWF committees to provide a variety of meaningful community experiences. And one of the most important tasks of the Membership Committee is to increase our numbers. The more women who join the HCWF circle, the more impact we have in our community. When all is said and done, it is YOU, the HCWF membership that gets the job done!
