Organization

The organization structure of the High Country Women's Fund is fairly straightforward:

  • You are a member of our Circle of Friends if you contribute your time by volunteering for one of our committees or contribute dollars to support our efforts.
  • If you want to have a say in the allocations that we make to women and children through our agency partners, you are a member of the Director's Circle. Your yearly contribution level will meet or exceed $1200, which you can donate as an individual or as a group of friends or colleagues.

  • The important thing to remember is that $1200 a year gives the individual or the group a single vote in our yearly process of fund allocation and a single representative at any Director's Circle functions.

The Advisory Council--with the Director's Circle--is the governing board for the HCWF. It is made up of the the committee chairs and the chairwoman, vice-chair, and secretary, who serve as the executive committee. The primary function of the board is to directly or indirectly raise funds to facilitate our mission.
